A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Darren Bell

Darren E. Bell Sr. is the current Executive Director of Reid Community Development Corporation (Reid CDC). He oversees Reid CDC’s strategic vision and leads day-to-day business decisions which include identifying potential sources of investment, initiating and organizing fundraising efforts; and recruiting talent who can lead programs and manage business functions. His experience includes being the President and Chief Executive Officer of BLEST Consulting, Inc., a talent development company for business and nonprofit leaders in healthcare, government, corporations, and education. BLEST Consulting received the Best of 2022 (Laurel/Greenbelt) Hall of Fame distinction from the City of Greenbelt and the 2020 Top Leadership Award from the Housing Authority of Baltimore City for their outstanding 18-month Customer Service & Leadership training program. Darren has been happily married to his wife, Terry for 36 years, they have three adult children and are faithful members of Reid Temple AME Church.
